The Agreement That Keeps Clients, Workers And KHEDME Aligned.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of:

• The website khedme.org (the “Website”), and
• The KHEDME mobile application (the “App”),

together referred to as the “Platform”.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

IN SIMPLE TERMS: KHEDME connects Clients and Workers but does not become a party to their service contracts.

KHEDME provides a neutral, structured marketplace that connects:

• Individuals and businesses seeking services (“Clients”) with
• Independent service providers (“Workers”) offering those services.

KHEDME:

• Is not a party to the contract for services between Clients and Workers.
• Is not an employer, agent, or representative of Workers.
• Does not supervise, direct, or control how services are performed.

Clients and Workers are solely responsible for:

• The terms of the job, including scope, timing, and price
• The quality and completion of the work
• Any obligations under labor, tax, social security, or other applicable laws.

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable law
• Provide accurate, complete information during registration and keep it updated.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities carried out under your account

You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

When using KHEDME, you agree to:

• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
• Respect other users and avoid harassment, abuse, or discriminatory behavior
• Not upload or share content that is illegal, offensive, or harmful
• Not attempt to interfere with the security or normal functioning of the Platform
• Not scrape, copy, or use automated tools to access the Platform without our permission

We may, at our discretion, remove content, suspend features, or take other actions where we believe it is necessary to protect users, comply with the law, or preserve the integrity of the Platform.

Booking Process

Clients can browse categories and Workers in their area.

• Clients may submit booking requests with job details and preferred time.
• Workers may accept or decline booking requests based on their availability and preferences.

The details of any job (scope, price, timing, special conditions) are agreed directly between the Client and the Worker.

Payments

Unless otherwise clearly indicated in the App:

• Payments for services are made directly between the Client and Worker.
• KHEDME does not collect or hold client funds for jobs and is not a payment intermediary for job fees.

If we later introduce non-cash payment options or in-app wallets, these will be clearly explained in the Platform and updated in these Terms and/or separate terms, as required.

Cancellations & Disputes

Clients and Workers are encouraged to:

• Communicate promptly regarding any change of plan, delay, or cancellation
• Act in good faith and with respect for each other’s time

KHEDME is not responsible for:

• No-shows, delays, or cancellations by either party
• The quality, safety, or outcome of any job
• Any damage or loss arising from services provided by Workers or demands by Clients.

However, we may, at our discretion, assist with basic communication or guidance in the event of a dispute, without assuming any legal responsibility or obligation to resolve it.

KHEDME includes an in-app messaging system with clear boundaries:

• Workers cannot initiate chat with Clients.
• Chat is opened by the Client, typically after a booking or inquiry.
• Messaging must be used only for job-related communication.

You agree not to:

• Send abusive, threatening, or harassing messages
• Share illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights
• Use messaging to solicit activities that violate these Terms or the law.

We may review, access, or retain certain communications where necessary to:

• Respond to complaints
• Investigate misuse, fraud, or safety concerns
• Comply with applicable law

From time to time, KHEDME may offer optional visibility or promotion features for Workers (for example, boosted visibility in certain areas or categories). Any such features:

• Are optional for Workers
• Do not affect the requirement that Clients choose which Worker to book
• Do not change the fact that KHEDME is a neutral marketplace and not a party to the service contract

Any terms, pricing, or conditions for such promotional features will be clearly explained in the App or Website.

All rights in and to:

• The Platform, including its software, design, logos, branding, and content (other than user content), and
• The “KHEDME” name and related trademarks,

are owned or licensed by KHEDME and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may:

• Use the Platform and its content solely for personal or internal business use, in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform or its content (except your own content),
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices,
• Use the KHEDME brand or trademarks without our prior written consent.

Users may upload or provide content, such as:

• Profile photos
• Service descriptions
• Portfolio images
• Text in messages or profile bios

By providing content, you:

• Represent that you have the right to do so
• Grant KHEDME a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and reproduce that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform (for example, showing your profile to potential Clients)

We may remove or disable content that we reasonably believe:

• Violates these Terms or the law
• Infringes third-party rights
• Is harmful, misleading, or inappropriate

IN SIMPLE TERMS: KHEDME provides the Platform "as is", without guarantees about uninterrupted service or user behaviour.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• KHEDME does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
• KHEDME does not guarantee the quality, safety, or suitability of any services provided by Workers, nor the reliability or behavior of any user.

Clients and Workers use the Platform at their own risk and are solely responsible for their interactions and agreements.

IN SIMPLE TERMS: our liability is limited to a reasonable amount under Lebanese law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• KHEDME, its founders, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.
• KHEDME's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to the Platform or these Terms shall not exceed, in any case, the greater of: (i) the amount you have paid to KHEDME for paid Platform features in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) the equivalent of one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions of liability. In such cases, some of the above limitations may not apply to you, but only to the extent prohibited by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KHEDME, its founders, employees, and partners from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Platform,
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Platform if:

• You breach these Terms or applicable law, or
• We believe it is necessary to protect other users, our systems, or our business.

You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Platform ceases immediately,
• Certain provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will remain in effect.

IN SIMPLE TERMS: Lebanese law applies, and courts of Beirut handle disputes.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lebanon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to any mandatory legal provisions, the courts of Beirut, Lebanon shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will:

• Post the updated Terms on khedme.org, and
• Update the "Last updated" date above.

If changes are material, we may also notify you through the App or by other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
